200 Things About Me
- I am a Christian
- I am left handed
- But only when eating, writing and bowling
- Everything else I do with my right hand
- So I guess I'm kind of ambidextrious
- Left-handed people tend to be more creative
- Not me
- Right-handed people tend to be more analytical
- That describes me better
- I make lists, plan things, and need everything in it's place
- Except on my desk
- That is a hot mess all the time
- But I know where everything is
- Even if I have to look for it a little bit
- I can be creative too though
- Depending
- I scored a 7 on this test
- That equates to being ambidextrious
- Go figure
- I have Hazel eyes
- My children have blue, green, and brown eyes
- All of them are right-handed, except K
- We're not sure which hand she'll use yet
- But she's leaning toward left :)
- I graduated high school in 1991
- I was ranked 15th out of 400
- I got pregnant 3 months after graduation
- I wasn't married
- Guess the brains only worked in the classroom
- My first child was born in 1992
- D was 10lbs 2ozs
- Yes, it hurt
- Badly
- My second child was born in 1997
- B was 9lbs 15ozs
- That hurt too
- My third child was born in 2001
- M was 9lbs 10ozs
- I didn't have drugs with her, so she hurt the worst
- And came the fastest
- 7 minutes after my water broke
- Oh yeah, lots of pain!
- My last child was born in 2005
- K was 8lbs 1oz
- I'm glad she was the smallest
- She made my final birth the most comfortable
- It still hurt, but not as much
- I'd probably have more children if I could afford it
- But I can't, so I won't
- I've worked in 9 different places in my life, other than here at home
- 3 were in food establishments
- 3 were in retail
- 3 were in schools
- Of all them, I loved my last job the most
- I loved it mainly because of the people I worked with
- I was the Accounts Payable Manager for our church and school
- In plain speak, I paid the bills
- It was really fun and didn't seem like work
- I'd go back again in a heartbeat
- Except they found someone to replace me
- Plus, I wouldn't put K back in daycare
- Staying home with her was the best decision I ever made
- But I totally miss my former office mates
- They made the job a blast
- I am an only child
- I was totally used to getting my way
- Lucky for me, Mr. Smoochiefrog could care less about many things
- So I still tend to get my way
- M is probably the most like me
- B is most like Mr. Smoochiefrog
- K is a total mix of us both
- D isn't Mr. Smoochiefrog's biological son, but he's alot like both of us
- He also has a lot of his father's traits though
- Much to my chagrin
- That's enough about that
- I once flushed an orange down the toilet
- Which caused the bathroom to flood
- Into the 7th grade hall
- They never knew who did it
- Because my friend didn't rat me out
- She's not my friend anymore
- Only because she didn't agree with my divorce
- I tried to email her recently
- But she never responded
- I do miss our friendship though
- I still keep in touch with my 3 friends who were my bridesmaids in my first wedding
- One was in my second wedding too
- We met at my second job
- While we were both in high school
- We've been best friends ever since
- The other 2 have been my best friends since Elementary school
- Mr. Smoochiefrog doesn't have friends like that
- I guess it's due to moving a lot as a child
- I lived in the same house from 3 until I was 22
- Minus a couple of years the first time I was married
- My dad sold that house in 2006
- I'm still not over that
- It held lots of memories
- Once Mr. Smoochiefrog gets out of the military, we're moving
- We'll get a house that my kids can grow up in
- And make friends that they'll keep forever
- I have a bunch of really odd quirks
- They probably could best be described as OCD behaviors
- I eat sandwiches crust/outer edges first
- I always save the middle for last because it's the best part
- I do the same thing with burgers
- I only really like the middle brownies out of a pan
- And I'll only eat the side pieces of cake if there's icing because the middle tastes better
- I eat M&M's in colored pairs
- I eat Skittles the same way
- I won't eat red Skittles though-blech!
- I count stairs as I'm walking on them
- If I fail to count when I start, I have to start over
- I do things in even numbers
- My favorite number is 4
- I put the radio stations in the car in ascending order
- I can't drive if the garage door opener is not in it's exact place
- When I cut food, I count as I'm doing it
- And that's enough about that for now
- I love reality TV
- My favorite shows are American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and Amazing Race
- I'd love to be on Amazing Race
- But I don't run, so I'd probably lose the final leg because I would refuse to
- Maybe I'd run since $1,000,000 would be at stake, but I doubt it
- I've tried out for 2 game shows; Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune
- I wasn't spunky/obnoxious enough to be on Wheel of Fortune
- And I don't watch enough Elvis movies to be on Jeopardy
- Those were the only questions I couldn't answer
- And the only questions they gave me
- I hate Elvis movies
- I love the smell of rain
- My favorite flowers are yellow roses
- I don't like red roses
- I play the flute
- I started playing it in 7th grade
- I played it in college too
- I went to 3 different colleges to get 1 degree
- I left the first school, U.S.A. (University of South Alabama) in 1992 after 1 year
- I had my first child one month later
- I opted to continue college closer to home, and at night
- I graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with an A.A. degree in 1993
- I graduated from USM (University of Southern Mississippi) in 1996
- I have a B.S. degree (hee!) in Elementary Education
- While in college, I was in a theater production
- It was a play called Talking With that consists of 11 monologues
- I was a fundamentalist snake handler
- The reason I got the part was because I was the only person who marked that I wasn't afraid of snakes on the info sheet
- I LOVED the part
- I actually pulled a real Boa Constrictor (named Louie) out of a box and walked around with it while reciting my lines
- Since the play was done in the round (option 3 on that page), I freaked many people out with Louie
- I'm truely not afraid of snakes
- I am however afraid of frogs (go figure)
- I scream like a little girl anytime I see a real frog
- The cute cartoon ones, I love
- Yeah, I'm strange
- I have never been outside the U.S.
- I like it like that
- I'm happy not knowing what I'm missing
- Sometimes I think I'd like to visit foreign lands like Australia, Europe and the Orient
- But I'm honestly too afraid to try
- I never really ate steak until after I married Mr. Smoochiefrog
- I hated it, I guess b/c I was forced to always eat it well done as a child
- Well done steak is very hard for a child to eat, so it always took me hours
- I don't think I ate steak from 10 to 30 something
- Then I got some yummy steak tips from Steak Out
- I haven't looked back since
- But I'll only eat tips or steak I cook at home
- Restaurants don't know how to cook a steak to my liking
- My favorite holiday is Christmas
- I love the lights, sounds and smells of Christmas
- If I could get away with it, I'd listen to Christmas music all year long
- Again, I know I'm weird
- My favorite color is forest green
- My favorite food is, well just about anything
- I'm allergic to cats
- I didn't know this until I moved out of my house and could suddenly breathe
- I hate it though as I really like cats
- I wish I could have cats again
- But I refuse to get a Mexican Hairless cat
- They frighten me
- I have a morbid fascination with popping zits
- My favorite artist is M.C. Escher
- But my favorite painting is by Van Gogh
- I can listen to just about any type of music
- My favorite 2 styles though are 80's and contemporary Christian
- Old style country is #3: love me some Hank Jr. and Charlie Daniels
- I love taking pictures
- Taking pictures of my kids comes first, nature second
- I also love to cook
- Which is what I should be doing now instead of being on the internet
- My favorite thing to cook is my homemade potato soup
- I also love to bake
- Which is quite evident when you look at me :)
- Of course, I wasn't always big
- I was a size 5 in high school
- I was also borderline anorexic, though never officially diagnosed
- I really liked how I looked after I had D the best
- I was a size 7 then
- We're so not talking about what size I am now
- I'm glad this list is finally done!
