Partying like its...oh nevermind
Welcome! I decided that I wanted to invite some new friends over and what better way to do that than to be part of a party! The ladies over at 5 Minutes for Moms decided to host a great big blog-hopping party! I decided at the last minute to join the festivities!
If you have visited my blog before, welcome back! We're making new bloggy friends today. There's plenty of room for everyone!
For those of you who are new to my blog, it's great to meet you! I've been looking forward to getting to know you so come on in and let's get this party started!
Well looky there! Someone was so excited to welcome you in that they broke out the Pom-Poms! That would be my eldest daughter M. She's 6, a dancer and a cheerleader. She just recently got glasses (like yesterday) and you can see an updated picture in yesterday's post.
Come on in and get comfortable. I'll get you some snacks and a drink from the kitchen. While I'm gone, feel free to visit with my youngest, K.
She's 2 and really talkative. If you're lucky, she might even sing or dance for you! Of course, she may just bring you a movie and ask you to watch it with her. She knows no strangers.
I hope you're not allergic to dogs. We do have one, well I think he's supposed to be a dog. Seems lately Clyde's perfecting his ability to emulate a rug as evidenced by this all too familiar scene:
Don't worry, I can always put him outside if I need too. He won't hurt a fly though. Worst he'll do to ya is drool you to death. Yeah, real scary.
There are some male children in this house too! Here you'll find my sports nut B.
He's 11 and in the 6th grade. He loves baseball, football and reading. Odd combination I know.
Here's another male child, D. He's almost 16 and enjoys online gaming and playing his guitar. Right now he's out of town, so a picture will just have to do. Sorry. This is what happens when you surprise a teenager and force them to smile.
There are adults around here too, I think. Oh wait, here's Mr. Smoochiefrog munching on some snacks I told him were for the party guests only.
Sometimes I wonder if he ever listens.
Me? Oh my, how rude of me! I'm Smoochiefrog (of course that's not my real name! What you think my parents are that crazy?). I'm in my 30's and am the happy mom to all those little angels listed above and wife to Mr. Smoochiefrog. We just recently moved to this house, but we've been busy making it our current home. This is the most recent picture i have of myself. It was taken back at Christmas (hence the hat).
I do hope you've enjoyed getting to know me and my family! They're my pride and joy and what I tend to blog about the most. Let me get that snack plate from you and see you out. Rumor is that you're going to be quite busy the next few days visiting lots of parties. Have fun and remember don't drink and drive! I wouldn't want anything to happen to my new friends.
I pray you safe bloghopping and hope to see you around here again soon!
